Good. Agreed. We can plan for it slowly and methodically. I don't mind how long it might take to do so.

It shifts - often it holds the image of a place in reality and the palace in tandem. They can be difficult to discern at times, as their doorways tend to distort, but some can sense them. Often, you can see them.

Travel around the palace can occur via safe rooms and areas with minimal distortion, like the entrance. It's not a complicated process, however I have difficulty explaining it. It's a matter of perception and changing your viewpoint. I'm sure you understand that much.

I do. That's fascinating... Thank you for explaining it. I can only imagine how difficult it is to try to quantify experiences like that into succinct descriptions for someone who's never been there.

Also - I clearly have my own names in mind, but who strikes you as someone who would be useful to bring along if we enact that plan?

We have similar lists, although I have to admit I didn't consider dragging Vash into this... but I tend to treat him pretty gently, so that's a failure of my own, not a reflection on him.

I've spoken to him enough to feel confident in saying he has a stronger resolve than many here. I would even venture so far as to say his willpower is the only reason he's still alive. He has the same goal as we do, the same hatred for complacency, and wouldn't falter.

He hasn't regained his power yet, but when he does, he'll be powerful. Destructive, even.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything if you've seen critical faults of his that I haven't. I'm all ears.

He's an idiot obsessed with murdering his father and nothing else. Every word out of his mouth is spewed recklessly. A toddler with no filter or foresight is a more appropriate description. Do not mistake will with boldness and luck.

You may believe in his abilities, but I'm not so convinced. Taunting and playing games is hardly a skill. Even if he isn't lying, and has the strength to back it up, it's useless when held by someone like that.

If you're talking about the 'father' comment, our goals are completely different, even if the end result is the same. Please learn how to account for nuance in statements when people talk to you.

Otherwise, there isn't anything else remotely comparable. Refrain from making senseless comments for no reason.

No, though he wasn't of sound mind. He spoke mostly of people and worked to maintain his composure during our journey. Powers weren't discussed.

Back in his reality, he had the power to create portals that can warp himself and others to any place he can coordinate.

I was with him when he wished to regain his power at the crystal, and he got a different one entirely. The circumstances there are complicated - it isn't strictly his power, but it's not entirely someone else's either...

Regardless, he's unpredictable and very, very strong.

That's quite a skill and one that that would be remarkably useful, even outside of the labyrinth. Perhaps a portal could even put us in our favorite captor's room.

Negotiating with Vaeros' life would likely elicit a response from someone.

In reference to Kurogiri though - I've spoken to him about the cloud creation ability. I assume that's the one you're referring to.

What do you mean by your statement of it not being his entirely?

Exactly my thinking. It's been some time since we discussed the particulars of his power, but I think the caveat was that he has to have precise coordinates. That's the only wrench in things, and it can potentially be overcome.

I don't know. And that isn't a cop out to protect my friend. I'm trying to help him figure it out, but he doesn't entirely know either. I'm sure if you two spoke while he was resisting his enthrallment, you likely noticed that at times, he's not... all there. That isn't particular to the Green Knight's effect.

Something happened to him to manipulate and alter his memories, and even his body. He's currently unrecognizable to those from his reality.

From what I've seen, the cloud power belonged to him when he was someone else, who both is and is not him. The more I learn about it, the less I understand, but it's a grave situation.

The coordinates issue is simple, if it involves traditional latitude and longitude. The world is miniscule when it comes to the area we're allowed in.

We pick coordinates at random and see where he ends up. If it's off the island, even better. Then we work from there - adjust and adapt it to our needs until we manage to reach our goal.

But it's disheartening to hear that. A cognition so warped he can't even see his true self.

Whatever happened to him may have been deeply traumatic, even to split a psyche. It's interesting, really, how people react to the circumstances of their lives and the challenges that occur.

Or perhaps it's similar to a psychotic break that hasn't fully assimilated or went wrong. A temporary issue prolonged by bad luck alone.

Regardless, it's none of our concern. His power is necessary and an ability to wield it. You can't solve everyone's personal problems.
