That's an interesting question.

One that's impossible to quantify. A heart is a heart, in my experience.

It's a part of having my position. As a detective and minor celebrity, my day is often filled with different tasks.

I fill my time in productive ways. Often I investigate town and spend time talking to others. I also do minor tasks for those around the community and then I finish the day doing chores around the machiya.

Of course I have - a detective and celebrity are both highly sought after careers in my world. Those are real jobs.

jobs arent a one-off. you do them all the time.

I do them all the time - I just happen to be a minor as well, so unfortunately I'm limited in the hours I can pursue. I do have to attend school after all.

Cultivating relationships with others is a skill that's appropriate for a detective. It's how you succeed as one.

That proves it's more important than ever to cultivate relationships in preparation for an actual pursuable crime that may occur.

Unfortunately, that proved beyond my capability, though I certainly made an attempt to solve it. Many did.
