Is irrelevant. It was just a man asking for a camera.
Still - ]
It was only a basic item the person wanted in the moment. It was nothing that didn't already exist in this world and it was so minor, I've already forgotten it.
What ones have you granted? I'm curious. Everyone seems to be indulging in different ways.
[He definitely doesn't feel like owning up to the booze and smokes. As much as Neil hates to admit it, Akechi is a bit of a Cameron. He doesn't feel like being lectured. As for the cave, that...will have to remain a secret at least for now.]
Just a couple of minor things like you said. Books, a radio. I finally wished for my prescription reading glasses back.
I'll bet that's made a world of difference for you - the glasses, that is.
Why did you wait so long to get them? I can only imagine the strain that was on your eyes. Had I known, I would have been more cognizant of my recommendations at the library.
Truthfully, I didn't really wear them as much as I was supposed to back home, either. I found a similar pair at one of the shops in Stellari, but they give me a headache after too long.
This place will throw enough at you without warning. Please take better care of your wellbeing - eye strain, however limited the exposure is, could lead to many issues with your sight down the road.
[Neil can't decide if Akechi sounds like his mother or one of his teachers, but he feels fondness nonetheless. This is just how Akechi shows he cares, right?]
My eyes will thank you. I have them now, so don't worry about that!
Are you going to grant any other wishes? Or wish for anything else?
[He wants to tell Akechi to let him grant his wish, but it feels...presumptuous.]
I want to experience this power more and see what can be learned from it while we have it. Though I have nothing for myself in mind, I'm certain one of my allies will give me material to work with - so to speak.

[Were this not a text message, one might actually see Neil's proverbial tail wagging.]
I want to. Whatever hypotheses you have, we can test them.
Come on.

How could I deny someone so eager?
Fine then - we'll test this together. When you're free, let's meet up.
