[His eyes seem to wander for a moment, as he makes sure Hermes is nowhere near the farm. Then waves his hand to unmake the Morbol, which would be far too timid in nature to bother with fighting. It disappears in white, glittering lights.]
I am not a fighter, I should make it clear.
[And he really doesn't want to have to fight a Morbol, but it would be a good show of what it can do. He summons two more at a distance- around nine feel tall, they immediately pick up on the pair and begin to shuffle strangely quickly towards them. Then they both pause, and he knows what is coming- he teleports out of the way, and assumes Akechi isn't silly enough to stand in front of them as they prepare to use Bad Breath.
His bow appears in his hands, and he takes a shot at the Morbol closest to him to drag its attention his way. The other one is all Akechi's.]
[He is not silly enough to stand in front of a debilitating, ailment inducing attack - that much is clear. Hyth teleports. Akechi jumps back with all the deft ease of a person used to fighting.
Tone light, airy, and more joyous than it's been in some time-]
Of course - allow me.
[Robin Hood appears in a flurry of blue, spiraling light - Megidolaon immediately inflicted on the dual menace heading their way.]
[Hythlodaeus chuckles as the Morbol staggers from Akechi's attack, but it isn't done yet. He made it capable of taking a beating. His arrows glow different colours as he attacks his own target, before he releases a combo flurry of arrows and finishes it with Meggido Flame from the palm of his hand. His own Morbol staggers in much the same way as Akechi's did, before swinging at him- he teleports out of the way again and to the side of it, eyes on Akechi.]
Was powerful. It catches Akechi's full attention. He wasn't able to figure out what that energy was, but it doesn't matter. Hyth really does have bite to back up that not so hidden bark.]
As much as one can. I do enjoy the occasional scuffle against a worthy foe, though these hardly meet that criteria.
[Hyth would though. He resists the temptation to send an attack his way. Pulls his attention back to what remains of his Morbol to try Hamaon. The instant kill never works - doesn't now, but it's worth a shot anyway.
Akechi's disappointment and irritation temporarily visible. He brushes it off a second later.]
[He notes Akechi's reaction, but doesn't draw attention to it. It seems Akechi has powerful magick at his disposal, but it is... finicky.]
No matter.
[He could use Annihilation here, but as usual he doesn't feel the need to. Instead he binds the Morbol in aetherial chains that writhe and glow, the creature immobilised. Though it thrashes, as long as Hythlodaeus focuses, it cannot escape. It gives him the perfect opportunity to fire off a few more arrows, the Morbol roaring before becoming still and slumping in its chains. As he releases it from the bindings, he approaches and rests a hand on its side, before letting it dissipate into nothingness.
He doesn't deign to assist Akechi. He has a feeling the other man knows how to handle himself well enough without his help.]
[Those chains are familiar - he's been tied up in a variation of them. Robin Hood has been held down by them despite its own ethereal status.
Akechi doesn't like it.]
Is that same skill Venat has? I've seen her use it before.
[And for his own killing blow - Akechi uses Megaton Raid against the remaining Morbol. The only bow wielding attack Robin Hood has and a promise to demonstrate fulfilled.]
[He gives the attack a grin, obviously approving, before nodding.]
Indeed, the aetherial chains are something some few of my people could wield.
[Not all, but... some. It takes a little more finesse to use in actual battle than to simply stand there and bind something, but Hythlodaeus is an accomplished fighter no matter how much he pretends- perhaps even believes- otherwise.]
Most of our kind were non-combatants- entirely unfamiliar with the concept of taking up arms against a foe, despite their powers. I might have been the same way, had my best friends not been who they were- fighters at heart. Full glad am I that I took the time to hone my skills somewhat. I will never surpass them, nor would I try, but I can certainly look after myself better now!
It's impressive. Between your ability to summon those to fight in your stead, along with these other skills. It makes you a valuable asset in any sort of altercation.
[Put those bad, bad chains away. He needs to figure out how to deal with that shit.]
While I'm somewhat new to fighting myself, should you ever want a partner to train with, I'm happy to oblige. I'm tougher than I look. There's little you could do that would harm me.
[He considers it as he takes another peek at Akechi's soul. Still as rancid as ever, but there's no denying there's power there that he hasn't been privy to yet. He doesn't know about the other Persona, but he assumes Akechi isn't showing his full potential... and fighting with him could be a way to see it.]
I would not say no. It would be interesting, to be certain.
[He doesn't really have anyone to train properly with for the moment, so why not Akechi?]
Aye, consider me intrigued. We can use the training grounds here I am sure, but if there is ever a time you feel you would like to train, pray contact me.

wanna wrap <3 <3
[Because he will take him up on that. He can't wait to figure out how to break that godlike power.]
